Raymond Ritzau talks about latest projects

Question: What projects have your attention these days?

Raymond: A Question of Answers that I'm working on with Melody Jones and Ian Ampoyo is front and center. It's a feature film, very much like The Spy Who Came in From the Cold directed by Martin Ritt in the mid 60's. That film was essentially a series of interviews, where there was lot more going on than any of the characters realized. The writer/director Stephen Mitchell is a John le CarrĂ© fan and you can see similarities in their writing.

Question: Is A Question of Answers in pre-production?

Raymond: Yes it is. Stephen has been writing and we've been rehearsing it from week to week. It's been a unique way for us to come to terms with the material.

Question: You spoke of projects in the plural. What else are you working on?

Raymond: It hasn't got a title yet but it's a story of people enmeshed in a game of cat-and-mouse with fatal consequences. It will have elements of suspense and action in the style of Jason Bourne directed by Paul Greengrass.

Question: All of your projects thus far have the quality of a psychological drama.

Raymond: That's true. The Visitor definitely had ominous psychological overtones as does A Question of Answers and the new project. That may just be a part of my preferences as an actor or what I project as a "brand".
